Haul::Shopping Therapy for a Massive Migraine

Hello, and Happy almost-September! Someone tell me when the whole "Wake Me Up When September Ends" posts trend thing starts happening so I can log the freak off the internet for an entire 31 days! Not kidding, I hate those posts, but this entry is not for ranting about the lack of originality that are present in a lot of people...mostly people on the internet who like social media more than they like blogs (because they can't maintain blogs. not enough words). This is about the first haul I've done in my life...filled with things I bought just for me; no gifts, no groceries for the family, just stuff I wanted for myself and letting loose with whatever I had in my savings. My first legit HAUL!!

I had a migraine when I got out of the car this afternoon, and I had absolutely no idea why because I was fine all day. But I decided that what the heck, I'm going to walk it out in the mall and go through some shopping therapy. Guess what? It worked! So for the ladies and the fabulous guys out there, shopping really helps a migraine. Unless it's super bad and you can feel your heartbeat pounding away at your scalp, then gurl, go see a doctor.

I was honestly surprised that there even was a part two, to be honest, because I thought that the products about to be mentioned on this post would have lasted me until the beginning of September. Guess I was wrong.

I've recently discovered the accessory heaven that is Claire's. My first visit was in July earlier this year, and at first, I was seriously intimidated because it was so white and immaculate-looking. I thought for sure that I wouldn't be able to get anything there that I could actually afford.

Back when I was much younger (like 11 years old), I developed this strange fascination for lip glosses. It was probably because it made your lips really shiny and I was a kid, so of course I gravitated towards shiny things. Fast forward to nine years later, and I still haven't quite gotten over that "shiny and shimmery" fascination I had with things. The only difference is that now, I know that all that glitters is not gold…or good.

Empty Bottles of August 2014::Part One

I've been watching lots of review videos on YouTube lately, among other things that I honestly have no technical knowledge to even begin a review on them, so I'm going to go start blogging about things that I can actually talk even quasi-intelligently about.

One of the things I don't like about the review vlogs on YouTube is that they seem to have a very monochromatic vocabulary. Most of the words that make up their videos are a certain group of the same words, and it makes the entire thing sound like my old elementary school essays where I say the same thing over and over again to not only deliver the intended message (futilely, of course), but to also fill up the page with redundancy. These people do the same thing, except they're filling up seconds on a video, not space on a paper.
