August 2014 Empties::Part Two

A few weeks ago, I posted the first part of my Empties for August 2014, and now I shall post the second part of this. I was honestly surprised that there even was a part two, to be honest, because I thought that the products about to be mentioned on this post would have lasted me until the beginning of September. Guess I was wrong.

First up is the Ivory 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash. I got this from a box of VS rejects (that's what I'm going to call these things now, by the way. Get used to it) that was sent over to us. The first thing, of course, that I noticed was that it was wrapped all around in packaging tape, which I honestly did not get until I realized that they'd already been opened before by the original giftees. Anyway, thanks VS for the shampoo/soap hybrid! Looking forward to your next bunch of rejects! *insert sarcasm here*

At first I used it as a shampoo, but I didn't really like it. Got rid of probably only 15% of my dandruff, but then again it didn't claim to be anti-dandruff in the first place. And the weird part was that sometimes, it even gave me some more flakes than normal. It was probably something wrong with me, rather than something wrong with the product because other people don't seem to have that problem. Afterward, I only used it as a body wash which was so much better for me. Unlike the soap that I reviewed on the first part of this month's empties (another VS reject), this one actually felt like it was doing some cleaning.

I decided before I even finished the bottle that I would definitely be scouring a mall or two to find this, and I couldn't believe my luck when I found even more Ivory products in the supermarket earlier today. Of course, I didn't get the hybrid anymore because it feels weird knowing that I soaped my body with shampoo. Instead, I got the body wash in Aloe, which I will probably be putting in my empties a few months from now.

Next (and last), I have the Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub (try saying that five times fast). This one, my mom got me because I had epic blackheads, and I still do. After using that, I'm fortunate enough to say that most of my pimples have gone, but their scars haven't totally left their residence on my face yet. What little blackheads remain are too big to be addressed by a scrub and is probably a sign that I'm due for another facial in a few days/weeks. Better call up their boss/my friend who can get me a discount now. Jokes, MZ, I shan't abuse friendships like that. Plus my mom's paying for it. tehee.

Right now, I'm using another scrub, but this one I'll definitely repurchase in the future. Lemme try a few more scrubs first then maybe I'll get back to you.

And that is most likely all the empties I will have for August this year. I'll be writing here again in a few weeks (probably…hopefully) for September empties this time. And a box of VS rejects are coming here soon, so I'll do some weird blog-version of an unboxing for you all, however many of you are out there reading this.
